COVID is breaking down long standing barriers for Foods

As if the millions of banana breads you saw on Instagram weren't indication enough, survey says:

  • 54% of Americans are cooking more at home

  • 46% are baking more

  • 75% say they're more confident in the kitchen

  • 73% say they are actually enjoying cooking

Could this be a revolution in American living?  Strong signs from the data point to a sea change, with Americans feeling they eat healthier when they cook for themselves.

Added bonus: Consumers are buying groceries online in record numbers.

This process end-to-end is nearly impossible to control. Each individual in the supply chain has to remain responsible, and consumers (and regulators) are paying attention.

Surely you’re taking the right steps to address consumer concerns, but have you communicated that to your stakeholders?
